Irwin gave me a decent quote to replace a 72’ section on the side of my house. After agreeing with the quote, he had his team show up on time and after consulting with me on their recommendation to accommodate a slight slope, they went to work and never stopped until the job was done. Very professional crew (Dave, TJ, and Tommy) who went above and beyond! My neighbor next door also had her fence done by FencePro and she is very pleased as well. Can’t say enough about This company! They know what they are doing and it shows!
To Whom It May Concern,
Recently I had replacement of components to our property fence. Fence Pro of Jacksonville, FL was selected based on good pricing but more importantly excellent reviews homeowners in the local market had.
I was out of town and my daughter was at home when Fence Pro was scheduled to commence with the project. Upon arrival, Rocky (Fence Pro supervisor), went over the proposal with her and a component of it was not as I had stated to her (side portions to the drive gate). She called me and I spoke with Rocky to find out that what I thought had been proposed was not what I was going to get (I did not have a copy of the proposal with me). I called Irwin who informed me that the proposal did not provide for two partial sections next to the drive gate that was being replaced.
Irwin and I discussed the issue and at the end I informed him that I would take care of those components myself but that I was disappointed with what had transpired. I stated that it was my responsibility to have made sure I was getting what I wanted before approval to start and that was my responsibility.
Having said all that, when I returned home it was evident that Irwin had gone the extra mile making sure a customer was satisfied and happy with Fence Pro's product and installation.
I would like to state that this is the first review I have done for FREE. I own a business that provides service to Insurance Carriers for Loss Control/Loss Prevention. On a daily basis we conduct inspections on firms of this nature that provide the carrier an understanding of the insured's business practices. From there we make recommendations that the Carrier requires the insured to implement in order to mitigate those issues in the future and thus reduce the potential for loss to the insured as well as the Insurance Carrier.
In my opinion, taking the time to 'truly' listen to your customers and understanding the issues at hand is a responsibility to the customer and to your COMPANY! It is here that the GREAT company's separate themselves from the rest of the pact which Fence Pro did.
There was a difference of about $100.00 between what I was quoted and the additional components needed to satisfy this customer and Irwin did it without adding the charge to the invoice. This will not stand: Irwin did what many would not and expended extra money, depleting Fence Pro's bottom line as a result.
I'll be sending out a check for $100.00 and would like to state that I would "RECOMMEND" Fence Pro to any business or homeowner for their fencing needs. Not only is Fence Pro's product(s) and installation service superior but Irwin is a gentlemen who has a clear and correct understanding of customer SATISFACTION.
